Our Story

The birthing process of the Haus of Angels is a sweet story.

Marlyn, the wife of the couple who own the store, used to collect all different types of angels in her home. She was active in church and women’s gatherings and there came a time when her husband Chauncey retired from his fire chief job.

Chauncey, thinking about the future gave Marlyn the idea of having an angel store. She had never been in business but her husband’s past experience of owning a furniture and appliance store would come in handy for the venture.

They scouted around the state of Washington and settled in Leavenworth, a small tourist town in center of the state. All things seemed perfect for what they wanted to do and where they wanted to live.

So in 2000 they packed their bags and merchandise and opened a small store in the Motteler Building. As time would have it they enlarged their store and a little later expanded to two locations. Each store features different product lines.

When thinking about their life as a whole they have commented that this has been the best time in their life.
